Job Summary:
Are you looking for a non-traditional Dietitian position? If so, here at UNJURY® Protein and OPURITY™ Vitamins we are looking to bring another Clinical Nutrition Specialist on board! As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist you will work out of our office located in Sterling, VA.

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist position offers a unique opportunity to spend time talking with patients who are truly interested in learning more about their diet and nutrition needs (versus some inpatient situations).

As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist at UNJURY Protein and OPURITY Vitamins you will have the chance to be part of a dynamic team of dietitians working in a fast paced environment addressing a wide range of nutrition issues. UNJURY Protein has recently expanded to offer multivitamins with No Ingredients from China: OPURITY™ Vitamins. Areas of responsibility include answering nutrition-specific questions about protein, vitamin and mineral intake and requirements for a variety of specialty areas including Bariatric, Cancer, Seniors, Diabetes, Weight Loss, Pregnancy, as well as several others. You will work over the phone and through e-mail with patients in these areas helping them fit our products into their everyday life.

You will also use your nutrition knowledge and research capabilities to answer a wide variety of questions that are e-mailed daily to “Ask the Dietitian”. In addition to communicating directly with patients, you will develop education materials, keep up with current research and take part in recipe development and testing.

Essential Job Functions:
Assume responsibility for incoming calls
- Establish a relationship with new customers
- Answer nutrition specific questions about protein intake and requirements as applies to medical condition.
- Answer nutrition specific questions about vitamin and mineral nutrient needs as applies to medical condition.
- Assist customer in placing orders
- Pro-actively counsel customers on how to use UNJURY and OPURITY

Reply to customer e-mails

Develop patient education materials

Develop product information for healthcare professionals

Test new recipes as needed or requested by customers

Minimum Requirements:
Position requires an RD or RD eligible new graduate with strong clinical skills and strong nutrition knowledge.

Abilities Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Review of Clinical Literature
